During the past few weeks: I have learnt about the settlement in th Great Southern Land. Who and when it was discovered. I most enjoyed the Humanities class on the mapping work of the European settlement in Australia. My attitude has developed as a student due to my increase of paying more attention in class. My behaviour has also developed as I am listening and consentrating more during class. My interim report in the subject wilI indicate that I have improved in specific areas in relation to my last report. The hardest task I have had to complete has to be the research essay on 'why the Great Southern Land was not claimed and settled by other Europeans'. My workbook is neat and well organised. I stick all of my given handouts in it and am able to refer to them at any time. My greatest strength is being organised before class. I know what I am bringing and I prepare it before hand. The two areas of my learning that I want to focus on improving are: 1. properly structuring pieces of writting. 2. I am happy with my progress so far. I have completed all given assignments and will try to do so for the remainder of the year.
What is the most important thing that you have you learnt in Humanities in the past month?
The most important thing that I have learnt in the past month has to be that Captain James Cook did not discocver Australia. He only claimed it for Great Britain.
What did you do to help yourself learn?
Consentrated and listened to all given instructions.
What did you do that made it difficult for you to learn well?
My peers can be a bit interupting but I manage well and finish my work.
Who did you work with? Were these effective (good) working relationships?
I worked with Helen and John on a couple of tasks. They were very good to work with and we completed the full task.
How is your progress towards meeting your goals for the semester?
My goal is to receive a better report. It is unknown now if I have forfilled my goal but my interm reports will highlight it.

the most important thing i have learnt this semester in Me and My World would be just the basic asspects of the economy and how it works.

The one thing I would change in this class would be the attitude in class.

I measure personal success by setting goals and acomplishing them.

i have worked exceptionaly well and i do find myself successful because i set my goals and accomplish them.
How much time in this class is profitable (used for learning)? Explain
Not much. Lectures take up most of our learning time and random discutions made by student that do not relate to our topic.

1. To accomplish all my given tasks and hand them in on time.
2. To deliver quality work and also hand them in on time.
